“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
Ephesians 2:10
God has a purpose for each of us, and that we are called to live out that purpose through good works.
Fanny Crosby, a prolific American hymnist and composer of gospel songs, became blind at 6 weeks old. Despite her blindness, she wrote over 9,000 hymns to inspire and uplift countless people. Some of her most famous hymns include "Blessed Assurance," and "To God Be the Glory” are sung in many churches today. She was a woman of faith who embraced God's purpose for her life, overcoming adversity and using her gifts to inspire others. Her legacy serves as a powerful reminder that even in the face of challenges, we can find meaning and purpose in serving God and others.
Ephesians 2:10 suggests that each individual is unique, made with care, and holds intrinsic value in the eyes of the Creator. It reminds us to embrace our identity in Christ and the importance of using our gifts and talents to serve Him and others.
"Through hard work, perseverance and faith in God, you can live your dreams".
