“The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”
Psalms 18:2
In the face of overwhelming adversity, there lies a profound source of strength and comfort - faith in God.
On 26 March 2025, South Korea faced an unparalleled disaster as raging wildfires engulfed its landscapes, claiming at least 24 lives and placing two UNESCO World Heritage sites in grave danger, as reported by CNA. Over the weekend, the infernos blazed across 17,398 hectares of forest, leaving villages in ruins and forcing the desperate evacuation of approximately 27,000 residents. Dry conditions and unyielding winds have fueled the flames, creating an environment of unprecedented devastation. Amid this calamity, faith emerges as a guiding light - offering strength, solace, and the reassurance that even in the darkest of times, no one is truly alone. It serves as a beacon of hope for those navigating the pain of loss, reminding them that restoration and healing are possible.
Psalm 18:2 stands as a powerful testament that, regardless of the circumstances, God is a steadfast source of protection, strength, and salvation.

“When you walk with faith, you walk boldly, because you know that God is leading the way."
