‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭16‬:‭3‬ ‭

When one seeks to involve God in their decision-making processes, their paths will be guided and fortified.

Malaysian CARE was founded by Rev. Peter John Young and a group of young Christians who were inspired to put their faith into action. They believed that God was calling them to serve the poor and needy, regardless of their religion or ethnicity.

Their initiatives include working closely with urban and rural poor communities, people with special needs, and those affected by prison, drugs, and AIDS; empowering the poor to become self-sufficient through sustainable agriculture projects; developing resilient and caring youth through various programmes like sports, guided study, and music lessons. Despite facing challenges and financial limitations, it has continued to grow and expand its services. Their success can be attributed to a strong belief in God's provision and guidance.

Proverbs 16:3 emphasises the importance of dedication and trust in God when pursuing our endeavours and goals. It serves as both an encouragement and a reminder of the profound benefits of faith and reliance on divine wisdom.
